The Overfalls Foundation will hold its first meeting of the year at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 10, in St. Peter's parish hall, 211 Mulberry St. in Lewes. Al Klineberger, Monomoy surf boat restoration chairman, will explain the origin and importance of these unique rowboats, one of which is shown in the photo. He will describe the current restoration project and outline the impact this addition to the museum will offer for all Overfalls visitors.
Valentine Memory Night will take place Friday, Feb. 14, at St. Peter’s hall (time to be determined). In preparation for archiving the extensive photo collection, members will enjoy Valentine treats to go with a walk down Overfalls' memory lane. This will provide an opportunity to view the hundreds of photos, slides and CDs that have been collected over the 14 years since the Overfalls Foundation began its efforts to save the historic vessel.
