North East Tea and Bean cuts ribbon

The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce sponsored a ribbon-cutting ceremony at North East Tea and Bean Jan. 6. Located at 21 E. Market St. at the corner of Market and Race streets in downtown Georgetown, North East Tea and Bean offers tea, coffee and pastries from local bakeries, along with lunch and baking-related gift items. Co-owned by the Ray family of Laurel, the coffee shop hopes to expand its hours to include dinners.
