Rehoboth Elementary fourth-graders donate pajamas

January 15, 2014

Celeste Marvin’s students found a creative and generous way to practice their writing skills. “Our fourth-grade class participated in the Great Bedtime Pajama Drive sponsored by Scholastic to benefit the Pajama Program. The nonprofit organization distributes donations of new books and PJs to children in shelters and group homes across the country,” said Marvin.

Marvin said her students researched the program and wrote letters to family, friends, and community members requesting donations. They collected 60 pairs of pajamas for the cause.
