Entries sought by Feb. 8 for Teen Love Poem Contest

January 15, 2014

The South Coastal Library invites teens ages 13-18 to enter the 10th Annual Teen Love Poem Contest. Teens are challenged to design, write and decorate their own original love poems as if they were on greeting cards.

Poems must be submitted to the South Coastal Library with entry forms by 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8. Prizes, including a $50 Tanger Outlets gift card, will be awarded for the three best overall poems, judged on the combination of artwork and poem composition. Winners will be announced Friday, Feb. 14, and they will be displayed in the library until the end of February.

Entry forms can be found online at or by visiting the Teen Room of the South Coastal Library. For more information, call Bernadette Hemingway at 302-539-5231.
