Delmarva Rugby Club is recruiting for its upcoming 2014 spring season. A meet-and-greet social will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 30, at the Greene Turtle in Lewes, where those interested may meet current players and coaches. No experience is needed to join the club, as coaches and experienced players will guide beginners and introduce them to the sport.

Games are played on Saturdays, with home games at Beacon Middle School and away games in the Baltimore and Philadelphia areas. Practice will begin in March and is held twice a week, on Tuesdays in Harrington and Thursdays in Rehoboth Beach. The team is coached by Scott King, a 25-year veteran of the sport.

The club was established in 2011 and is a member of the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union.
