Vacation packages available for Indian River Inlet cottages

Through unique public-private partnerships, the Indian River Marina has created two new vacation packages that feature stays at the waterfront cottages along the Indian River Inlet. A Spa Getaway package and a Golf Retreat cater to a variety of visitors and offer relaxation, recreation and a chance to discover the natural and historic features that Delaware State Parks offer year-round.

The Spa Getaway package partners with Made Ya Look! Salon and Day Spa on Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach and includes manicures and pedicures for four, as well as 20 percent off additional services at the spa. The Indian River Life-Saving Station staff will also conduct a private sea-glass jewelry-making class for the group.

The Golf Retreat includes greens fees and other amenities for four golfers at two popular courses. Baywood Greens in Long Neck, one of the beach’s finest country club courses, boasts an 18-hole championship course offering scenic views and spectacular golf. The Rookery also offers an 18-hole championship layout in the Rehoboth Beach resort area providing wonderful playing experiences for golfers of all abilities.

Both the Spa Getaway and Golf Retreat are offered for four people and include Sunday-to-Thursday stays in Delaware Seashore State Park’s Cottages at the Indian River Marina during the off-season, November through March. Also included are a welcome bag with coupons, vouchers and gift certificates from local shops and restaurants like Henlopen City Oyster House and Tanger Outlets.
