American Military Engineers announces scholarship opportunities

Application deadline March 21 for college, March 31 for high school

The DelMarVa Post of the Society of American Military Engineers is offering scholarship opportunities for both college and high school students.

A college scholarship is available to high school seniors or other incoming first-year college freshmen from the DelMarVa area who have been accepted into the engineering program of a four-year, ABET-accredited college. Military affiliation is not required.  The award varies (one-time award of $1,000 is typical). Application due date is Monday, March 31.

A scholarship for engineering camp held June 26 to July 2 by the U.S. Air Force Academy in  Colorado Springs, Colo., is available to students who will have completed their freshman or sophomore year of high school and have an expressed interest in pursuing a degree in architecture, engineering or related field or in attending a military service academy. Applications are due by Friday, March 21.
