YWCA Delaware has closed its Georgetown office at the Georgetown Office Park and converted to a mobile office structure. As a result, YWCA will no longer offer drop-in hours but remains committed to serving Sussex County with youth and adult programming as it has for the past five years. The new mailing address is PO Box 546, Georgetown, DE 19947-0546. The general phone number remains the same at 302-253-0684.
Youth services include the SITE summer internship camp, YWCA Girl college and career readiness program, ESTEEM life skills workshops, and the I Am diversity awareness program. These programs are offered for youth age 11-17.
Adult programming includes the Center for Women's Entrepreneurship, a program for start-up and emerging entrepreneurs, which includes business plan development, coaching, assessment, and advanced business planning. This program is funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
