Visions of Georgetown exhibit opens Feb. 3 at The Upper Crust

The Upper Crust at 7 E. Market St. in Georgetown will exhibit Visions of Georgetown, a photographic interpretation by three artists, beginning Monday, Feb. 3, and running through early March. A Meet & Greet reception with the artists will take place from 12:30 to 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 6. Light refreshments will be served.

The Upper Crust is also hosting an evening wine & cheese reception from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 7. Coffee and desserts will also be available. Everyone attending will receive a ticket good for 10 percent off all dinner entrees at The Brick Hotel, where dinner reservations can be made by calling 302-856-1836.

Visions of Georgetown was created by photographer Keith Steck of Milton.  The photos have been interpreted by  watercolorist Gerilyn Gordon Gaskill of Georgetown, oil painter Eddie Filemyr of Milton and acrylic painter Ron Lightcap of Millsboro.

The Upper Crust, theuppercrust.info, serves made-from-scratch baked goods, fair trade organic coffee, breakfast and lunch in a casual setting.  Part of The Upper Crust’s commitment to the community is to offer a gallery space to local artists. The Brick Hotel on The Circle, brickhotelrestaurant.com, offers hotel accommodations, an onsite restaurant and tavern, and is available for banquets and weddings.
