Jade plants and ice cubes

I've killed lots of jade plants in my time.  Now I think I'm getting the knack. Very little water, right amount of light.  East light seems to make them happy.  And just a little water now and then. An ice cube on a small plant once a week or so. Two or three on a larger plant. The cubes melt slowly, the water soaks in gently. Just cool and calm.

When the jades really need water, they'll tell you.  Body language. Leaves start to droop. Keep an eye on them.  They're pretty to look at any way.  They know you're looking at them and will stand up straighter just from the attention.

So that's today on jade.
