Sydney Green scores big at second annual Shore Classic Invitational

Sydney Green of Lewes tallied first in the all-around United States of America Gymnastics Level 8 age 11-15 with a score of 35.675 at the second annual Shore Classic Invitational Gymnastics meet Jan. 26 at Sussex Academy in Georgetown. Green also took top gold and platinum honors in the United States Association of Independent Gymnastics Clubs age 11-18 events. Taylor Ockels of Milton placed third all-around in the USAG Level 2 age 7-9 with a score of 35.

Green and Ockels perform for the Mid-Coast Gymnastics Club in Selbyville, where they helped Mid-Coast garner first place in the USAG Level 2 and Level 5, second place in the USAG Level 1 and Level 3, and third place in USAG Level 6.

USAG places for Mid-Coast Gymnastics Club were as follows: Level 1 age 4-5 second all-around 36.1 NaBra' Morris; Level 1 age 6 first all-around 37.0 Terra Berkheimer; Level 2 age 7-9 first all-around 36.6 Rachel Kline; Level 2 age 7-9 third all-around 35.7 Taylor Ockels; Level 3 age 6-7a third all-around 36.650 Kameron Sockriter; Level 3 age 8 third all-around 36.050 Kaylee Christopher;

Level 5 age 10-13 tie for third all-around  32.975 Harley Lardner, Riley Mears;
Level 6 age 6-11 second all-around 36.025 Alexa Eisemann; Level 6 age 12-14 first all-around 37.3 Lauren Grow; Level 7 age 10-12 first all-around 35.1 Sierra Eisemann; Level 8 age 11-15 first all-around 35.675 Sydney Green; Level 8 age 11-15 second all-around 33.3 Brooke Ward.

USAIGC places for Mid-Coast were as follows: Age 9 copper all-around 36.5 Zoe Tuttle; Age 10-12 silver all-around 36.950 Alexa Eisemann; Age 11-18 gold all-around 36.575 Sydney Green; Age 11-18 platinum Sydney Green.
