Harpoon Hanna's expands dining areas, banquet space

Restaurant to remain open during renovations
February 4, 2014

Last year Harpoon Hanna’s celebrated the 30th anniversary of its opening April 10, 1983, by Frank Hanna Sr. Since then, the Fenwick Island restaurant has enjoyed a reputation for fine food and service.

“It’s incredible to see how much we’ve grown,” says Wes Hanna, Frank’s son and now in charge. As Harpoon Hanna’s has continued to satisfy over the years, there has become a need to expand and renew in order to accommodate the ever-growing number of visitors.

Harpoon Hanna’s Restaurant is remodeling and refurbishing for an updated, fresh look. The renovations will be completed by spring 2014.  Harpoon Hanna’s will remain open throughout all renovations.

The interior will take on a brighter, fresher look. For those who prefer more of an open dining experience, Harpoon Hanna's is adding a 1,200-square-foot three-season room. The banquet room is also being completely renovated to accommodate more people for private party needs. The new facility will have a first-class feel for weddings, rehearsal dinners, banquets, conferences, reunions and much more.

Finally, workers are polishing up the bar, which was remodeled in 2013 and included a new draft system with 12 brand-new lines, featuring a local craft beer selection.
