Rehoboth Concert Band to hold benefit performance March 9

The Rehoboth Concert Band will offer a benefit performance at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 9 at Epworth United Methodist Church, Holland Glade Road, Rehoboth Beach.

Selections will include a variety of entertaining pieces arranged for concert band such as "Italian Rhapsody," "Night on Bald Mountain," and "Hands Across the Sea March." Popular local vocalists Peggy Raley and Eddie Sherman of The Eddie Sherman Show will highlight the afternoon's entertainment.

Tickets cost $20 for adults and $10 for students and may be purchased at Browseabout Books in Rehoboth Beach, or by calling Deb at 302-539-4051, or Dianne at 302-381-6620. Payment can be made by cash or check only.

Proceeds from this performance will benefit the Lewes chapter of P.E.O., a philanthropic educational organization dedicated to women's higher education through granting scholarships and low-interest loans to qualified women.
