The Wibergart Gallery is presenting a preview show for a new series of paintings, Eight Light Houses of Delaware Bay, by Jack Wiberg. The show will open from 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday Feb. 8.

Represented in this series are the Cape May Light, Harbor of Refuge Light, Delaware Breakwater East End Light, Brandywine Shoals Light, Miah Maull Light, the Mispillion Light, Fourteen Foot Bank Light, and Ship John Shoals Light. Giclee prints, on canvas, of these lighthouses may be ordered during this preview period from now till March 31. This is a limited edition of 50 of each image signed and numbered. Those who order complete sets will be given first consideration and receive the same number on all prints. Prints of individual lighthouses will then be available up to the limited edition number.

Wiberg’s paintings have been exhibited in group and solo shows throughout the United States, and they are in private collections around the world. He is a professional member of the International Society of Marine Painters and a member of the American Society of Marine Artists. Most recently, his painting of the U.S.S. Delaware was included with works by about 50 artists used to illustrate a documentary of the War of 1812 produced by the American Society of Marine Artists.

The Wibergart Gallery is at 20 Baltimore Ave. in Rehoboth Beach. Regular gallery hours during the winter season are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday; with other days and hours by appointment or by chance. The opening preview is part of the Mosaic Second Saturday Art Walk.
