Rehoboth chefs to offer multi-course wine & beer dinner Feb. 28

Proceeds to benefit Cape Henlopen Food Basket
February 13, 2014

The Rehoboth Inspired Chefs Initiative, a group of Rehoboth chefs and restaurant professionals, was the driving force behind last summer’s popular Taste of Rehoboth event that mobilized the downtown area’s restaurant community in an effort to raise money for the Food Bank of Delaware.

This time around the group is collaborating on a multi-course wine & beer dinner, each course designed and executed by a different chef from one of Rehoboth’s finest restaurants. The event will take place at 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 28, at the Village Improvement Association building just off the Boardwalk at Grenoble Place near downtown Rehoboth. Proceeds from the event benefit Cape Henlopen Food Basket, a local charity that provides food for hungry families.

Those attending should expect an evening of exciting wines and exceptional food in an elegant atmosphere and will have a chance to mingle with the chefs who make Rehoboth a dining destination. Tickets cost $150 per person and are available now at Azura, Eden, a(MUSE.), Espuma and Bin 66.

As a prelude to the main event, Bin 66 on Route 1 will host an open-to-the-public Meet and Greet with the chefs that will feature wine tastings and hors d’oeuvres and will take place from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 23.
