The Cape Henlopen Leo Club hosted the first Winter Classic Floor Hockey Tournament Friday, Feb. 7, at Cape Henlopen High School. Only 12 teams were permitted to register for the double elimination-style tournament.

After four hours of exciting and competitive tournament play, the team of Super Saiyons led by Miguel Merino-Sanchez, Todd Keen, Luke Benson, Brandon Argo, Jeb Monigle, Griffin Kammerer and Austin MacElrevey was crowned the champion.

“This was a really fun tournament, and Leo Club worked very hard to make the tournament successful," said Leo Club advisor Mike Connors.

Profits from the tournament will be donated to local organizations in need of support. The Leo Club would like to thank all teams for participating.
