The Rehoboth Art League held an opening February 7 for its “Hot Off The Press” exhibition. It is the first-ever exhibition of student work from Delaware and Maryland. Art by more than 25 students from Salisbury University, Delaware State University and Washington College is showcased at the show, which runs through March 2.
The show gives the students an opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional setting while learning skills such as submitting, dispelling and preparing their work for display. The students' work was selected by John Mosher, RAL exhibitions manager and professor at Salisbury University; Rae Ramos, RAL exhibitions coordinator; and Dr. Donald Becker, chair of the art department at Delaware State University.
Shown is Jake Hurley, a student at Salisbury University, with his Sumi ink and graphite on paper image titled “A Universe.”
