Clear Space's 'Odd Couple' deserves kudos

February 13, 2014

I’d like to share a glowing review of “The Odd Couple,” which I recently enjoyed at the Clear Space Theatre in Rehoboth Beach. The show was quite entertaining, and very clever in the way it turned the original male leads into female roles.

The lead performances by Amy Warick and Elaine Faye were outstanding, and so were the performances by the supporting actors: Elizabeth Roe, Valorie Jarrell, Aleta Thompson, Susann Studz, John Williams and Paul Fedynich. Each of them played a vital part in creating the funny story, and each served his or her role perfectly.

Of course, the behind-the-scenes crew did a wonderful job with the set, lighting, music, sound effects and scene changes.

Even though the community has come to expect stellar performances at all Clear Space shows, I don’t think we should take for granted how much dedication and commitment it takes to deliver them time after time.
