Beach-area audiences can enjoy a preview of the 2014 season Sunday, Feb. 23, as Rehoboth Summer Children's Theatre and Family Stages bring "Peter Pan" to Epworth United Methodist Church for a 2 p.m. performance. "Peter Pan," the classic story of youthful joy and adventure, will open the 33rd season of the Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre Sunday, June 29. However, theatergoers can skip the traffic and the crowds and enjoy the show this winter!

Tickets are $10 and children under 3 attend free. Tickets can be reserved by calling the Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre at 302-227-6766. Tickets can be purchased at www.rehobothchildrenstheatre.org. Epworth United Methodist Church is at 19285 Holland Glade Road, Rehoboth Beach.

The performances in 2014 mark the 30th anniversary of Peter Pan’s appearance on the RSCT schedule. Written by company founders Elise and Steve Seyfried in 1984, the play has been a hugely popular production reprised many times through the years. This summer’s schedule also features "Alice in Wonderland," "Aladdin," and the musical comedy "Little Goldy and the Three Riding Bears."

All of the plays are performed in the unique, two-actor format that has delighted two generations of family audiences. The summer schedule features performances on Sunday evenings at Clear Space Theatre and Tuesday evenings and Wednesday mornings at Epworth. The complete schedule is online.
