Jack Lingo welcomes rental agent to Rehoboth office

February 20, 2014

Andy Meddick discovered a fondness for small-town beach life growing up in the beautiful landscape of his native South Wales, UK, relocating to the Washington, D.C./Baltimore metropolitan area in 1993. Meddick's history with the Delaware shore is one heard among many beach residents. He started coming to Rehoboth Beach for weekend escapes from the pace of city life.

Hotel stays morphed into beach home ownership. Weekends soon turned into long weekends. Eventually, after a successful career in corporate information technology business systems analysis and project management, Meddick relocated his family full time to Rehoboth Beach.

A serial entrepreneur, Meddick also owns a specialty food business at the beach; he joined the real estate profession in 2012. Meddick has a keen intuition for eliciting a client's needs and in asking the appropriate questions to find the right solution to match those needs. Meddick takes a hospitality-based approach to serving his clients' needs.

Having lived full time in Rehoboth Beach since 2005, he has a good knowledge of the town and area. In his real estate business, Meddick has focused on the needs of resort (second) home and investment property ownership. He says, "I've been where many of my clients are now. Empathy in business relations makes hospitality a natural fit for the real estate profession."
