Delaware Tech announces March travel and culture trips

The Corporate and Community Programs division of Delaware Technical Community College’s Owens Campus is offering some exciting trips and activities to help get rid of the winter blues.

A Philadelphia Flower Show trip is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4. Participants will experience the combinations of art and horticulture as the 184th show that celebrates everyone from Michelangelo to Monet, Picasso to Pollack, and da Vinci to Dali. The cost is $79 per person.

St. Paddy’s Progressive Lunch comes Friday, March 14, as celebrants visit three restaurants that will roll out the "green carpet.” The cost is $65 per person.

A trip to Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum is set for Saturday, March 15. Robert Ripley has collected the odd, the unusual, and the unexplained for 35 years in more than 201 countries. The cost is $85 per person.

“Moses” comes to the Sight and Sound Theatre Tuesday, March 18, as the greatest biblical epic of the Old Testament comes to life on stage. Cost includes a delicious family-style late lunch at Hershey Farms. The cost is $149 per person.

The U.S. Mint/Food Tour of Philadelphia is scheduled for Thursday, March 20. Participants will have a tour of the largest coin factory in the world, followed by an introduction to Philly's best specialty shops and restaurants while sampling Philly's best foods. The cost is $115 per person.
