Celtic Harvest to perform at Lewes Public Library March 13

February 21, 2014

Celtic Harvest will perform at Lewes Public Library at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 13. The group's music includes songs from all over the map - Ireland, Scotland, England, Canada, Australia, and America - written by pop stars, folk legends, anonymous balladeers and even some of the band members.

Celtic Harvest has been performing together throughout Delaware since 1997. The group was created by five Americans with family roots in Ireland who decided to join forces to play tunes and songs that either originated in Ireland and Scotland or that were a product of the people who carried that tradition to the New World.

This performance is made possible, in part, by grants from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency dedicated to nurturing and supporting the arts in Delaware, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. Call the library at 302-645-4633 or go to www.leweslibrary.org for more information.
