The Cape girls' basketball team delivered a big win on Senior Night Feb. 18, beating Polytech 47-37 behind the backcourt of Madison MacElrevey with 11 and Anshe Boyer with 10 points.
The win was the third in a row for Cape, which had also beaten Delcastle and Sussex Tech in recent games. The Vikings closed out the regular season with a record of 7-13.
Cape has an outside shot to make the DIAA tournament once all the results throughout the state are tabulated and rolled into the computer formula.
