Milton author Amy Stewart to hold book signings March 1 and 8
Milton resident Amy Stewart will hold a reading and signing of her first book, “The Living Rainbow,” Saturday, March 1, at Involution Yoga, Jingle Shell Way, Lewes, just south of the Nassau Bridge on the southbound side of Route 1.
Involution Yoga will host a free kids' yoga class that day at 9:30 a.m., followed by the reading and signing until 11 a.m. Copies of the book will be for sale. Published through Balboa Press, a division of Hay House, “The Living Rainbow” is also available through Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
The Avenue Apothecary and Spa, 110 Rehoboth Ave. in Rehoboth Beach, will host a reading, signing and reception with light hors d'oeurves for Stewart from 4 to 7 p.m., Saturday, March 8. Copies of the book are currently on sale there.
“The Living Rainbow,” written in verse form, unites Eastern and Western philosophies. It is a tale about a child who is shown the interconnectedness between himself and all of life’s wonders. "The Living Rainbow" teaches children and adults about intuition, connecting to one's higher self, and the importance of learning how to process life’s experiences in a healthy manner.
