Blooming Boutique in Lewes will host a Trollbeads at the Beach Spring Fling Festival Friday to Sunday, March 28 to 30 in Lewes.  Blooming Boutique, owned by Michiko Seto, is the the largest Trollbeads dealer in Delaware, with four retail locations.

“After having our first Trollbeads at the Beach Festival in October, we could not wait for a year to have another amazing event and decided to host them twice a year,” says Seto.  “From the amazing selection of beads that came in from Denmark to watching the American Trollbeads artists create beautiful beads for our customers, many of us just can’t wait for this event.”

Trollbeads is the original bead-on-bracelet jewelry. Trollbeads jewelry is made from 18-carat gold, sterling silver, Italian glass, freshwater pearls and precious stones, and is created with a blend of traditional and modern techniques. Each glass bead is handmade from red-hot glass in an open flame, and no two Trollbeads are ever completely alike.

A Meet and Greet Reception will take place from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, March 28, at Blooming Boutique, 118 Second St., Lewes. The event is free with online registration, or RSVP in the store.

Trollbeads at the Beach Festival gears up at 9 a.m., Saturday when the day's registration opens at the Lewes Presbyterian Church Hall, 133 Kings Highway. The Saturday events extend from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., including a buffet luncheon with gift bags valued at $65. A dinner dance, scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m., will take place at the American Legion Hall in Lewes and includes special offers and an exclusive assortment of artisan and unique beads released that day.

Sunday, March 30 offers Beads & Brunch design classes at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Blooming Boutique.  There will be limited seating. Call the store to reserve a space at 302-644-4052. American Trollbeads glass artisans Scott Bouwens and Gail Moore will be on hand to help students create their own treasures.
