Albert 'Leo' Grove Jr., motorcycle enthusiast

Albert "Leo" Grove Jr., 70, of Georgetown, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., Oct. 1, 1943, son of the late Albert Leo Sr. and Elsie (McMahan) Grove.

Mr. Grove enjoyed a longtime career as a maintenance supervisor at the Clariant Corporation in Milford. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed watching NASCAR during his spare time. He was also an avid hunter and a passionate fisherman who always knew where the fish were biting. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family and will be missed by his loved ones.

Mr. Grove is survived by his loving wife, Veronica M. (Vroble) Grove; four daughters: Michelle Conlan and her husband John of Chatham, N.J., Kim Henry of Indiana, Pa., Chris Smith and her husband Bruce of Indiana and Jessica Moore and her husband Jason of Georgetown; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Donna Beisel of Elton, Pa.

All services are private.

Memorial contributions in Mr. Grove's memory may be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.

Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Dodd-Carey Chapel, Georgetown.
