Biggs Museum to hold An Affair with the Arts Gala May 10
The Biggs Museum announces that tickets are now on sale for the 2014 Gala: An Affair with the Arts, which will take place 6 to 11 p.m., Saturday, May 10, at 406 Federal St., Dover. The Gala is the museum's annual premier fundraising event, attracting more than 350 enthusiastic friends and supporters. It is designed to bring in substantial revenue that directly supports temporary exhibitions and educational programming for the forthcoming year.
This year's event boasts live entertainment, dinner and cocktails, silent auction, dancing, raffle and more. Mike Hines and the Look, a local favorite, will perform. The showmanship and talent of this dynamic group guarantees to yield the right blend of music to have all guests on the dance floor.
Award-winning Abbott's Grill of Milford will provide the catering, including pairing stations to go with local beers provided by Dogfish Head Brewery and Fordham Brewery. An open bar including specialty drinks will also be offered. Dress is black tie optional/cocktail attire.
