Salvation Army and Jersey Mike's Subs team up for month of giving in March

March 1, 2014

The Salvation Army is joining forces with two Jersey Mike’s Subs restaurants in Salisbury, Md., and Rehoboth Beach for the Fourth Annual March Month of Giving fundraising campaign. During March, customers can make donations to the charity at either Jersey Mike’s.

The campaign will culminate in Jersey Mike’s Day of Giving Wednesday, March 26, when 100 percent of the day’s sales at Jersey Mike’s locations nationwide will go to more than 100 different charities including hospitals, youth organizations, food banks and more. The Salisbury and Rehoboth Beach Jersey Mike’s restaurants will donate 100 percent of the day’s sales to the Salvation Army. Jersey Mike's Rehoboth restaurant is at 18598 Coastal Highway.

Last year’s Month of Giving campaign raised $1.7 million for 86 different charities nationwide. Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations throughout the country have raised nearly $7.5 million for worthy local causes and distributed more than 600,000 free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes.
