Donna Wilder, Grotto Pizza employee

Donna Wilder, 68, of Dagsboro died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes.

She was born Sept. 18, 1945, in Frankford to the late David and Olive McDade. She was a 1963 graduate of John M. Clayton High School. She has worked for NCR and Intervet, but spent her last 18 years with Grotto Inc. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, shopping, dancing and Hallmark ornament collecting. Donna was a devoted mother and grandmother who would sacrifice anything for her family.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother, David "Sonny" McDade Jr.

She is survived by her children, Deana Lynch of Georgetown and Burnley "Bandit" Wilder of Dagsboro; four grandchildren, Peyton, Joshua, Logan and Devon; a nephew Shane and a niece Shannon.

A funeral service has been postponed due to inclement weather. Services will now be held Thursday, March 6, at 2:30 p.m. at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, where friends may call after 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Carey’s Cemetery in Frankford.
