The countdown to departure is on as a group of 13 Cape Henlopen High School students will soon be leaving for Rome, Florence and Venice.

The students, their parents and chaperones Cristina Christy, Italian teacher, and retired social studies teacher Sue Comorat extended thanks to all the staff members, parents, and friends for all the fundraising events and sales which helped to finance the trip.

Displaying their Viva l'Italia T-shirts are in back (l-r) Graham Smith, Michael Martin, Cody Duvall, Michael DeStasio, Dylan Brown, Madeline Bradshaw, and Ashley Harman; in front holding the Italian flag are Anthony Iammatteo, Aidan O'Keefe, Sarah Boothman and Rebecca Moy.  Not pictured are James Albertella and Marlee McGinness.
