Sussex Technical High School’s JROTC Raven Battalion hosted a precision drill meet Feb. 22. Teams from Cape Henlopen, Dover, Polytech, Seaford, and Wicomico high schools competed in six categories - Honor Guard, Inspection, Unarmed Regulation, Armed Regulation, Armed Exhibition, and Unarmed Exhibition. The meet was concluded with a little fun in the Knock-Out Drill to see who would be the last cadet standing.

Sussex Tech JROTC cadets completely ran the competition. As hosts, they did not compete in any of the competitions at their meet, but kept busy escorting visiting teams, recording results, catering to judges, and selling refreshments. Sussex Tech’s cadets are currently the state champions in the Unarmed Exhibition Drill.

Winners of the meet were as follows: Color Guard-Dover, Inspection-Dover, Unarmed Regulation-Seaford, Armed Regulation-Wicomico, Unarmed Exhibition-Dover, Armed Exhibition-Cape Henlopen and Overall-Cape Henlopen.
