Daisy thanks DJ’s Pet Depot

March 4, 2014

My name is Daisy. I’m a senior gal, a little chubby these days but we get that way as we age. Don’t have all my teeth either. For years I was homeless, helped by wonderful people who just could not take me in. When the cold and ice set in this winter I could not stand it any longer and found my way into someone’s house.

T

o make a long story short, some very nice ladies with the Just Us Cat and Kitten Rescue group took me in and I wound up at DJ’s Pet Depot, the year-old pet store south of Lowes on Highway 1. I was up for adoption; who knew what that meant? Well, let me tell you the room and board was wonderful, and it was free!

And nice people took care of me and cleaned my room every day! Lots and lots of people came to see me, just me! And one day someone special came into my life and wanted to take me home, and did! And now I have a forever home!

Yes, I’m a cat, but I have feelings too. I won’t see them again, but I wanted the folks at DJ’s Pet Depot to know how much I appreciate what they did for me and what they are doing for my friends in the cat rescue community, both four-legged and two-legged alike.
