Beachcombers Corvette Club elects new officers

The Beachcombers Corvette Club of Southern Delaware elected its 2014 officers at the club's March 6 meeting. Gathered at the podium are (l-r) Sunshine Chair Edna Gentile, Secretary Pam Glasgow, Sergeant at Arms Diane Brooks, President Herb Von Goerres, Vice President Keith Koyanagi, Public Relations Chair Gloria Mills, Activities Chair Lori Koyanagi and Treasurer Orville Mills.

The Beachcombers meet monthly at the CHEER Senior Center, 20520 Sand Hill Road in Georgetown. Members enjoy participating in activities like rallies, parades, car shows, trips and more throughout the year. During its 13-year history, the club has also sponsored many local charities. Its largest fundraiser is the annual car show which takes place at 1st State Chevrolet on Route 113 in Georgetown.
