Downtown Lewes stores to celebrate St. Patty's Day March 15 and 16
Blooming Boutique, Lewes Gifts, Treasures and the newest store, Lewes Wear, all in downtown Lewes on Second Street and Savannah Road, will host a Progressive St. Patty’s Day Party from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, March 15 and 16.
The weekend will offer Irish refreshments and in-store sales and specials. A Lucky Irish card can be picked up at any of the four locations, and as customers visit the stores and sample the beverages, store staff will stamp the card. Once individuals visit all four stores, they can turn in the card to be entered in a drawing to win a $ 50 gift certificate. There will be a winner for Saturday and one for Sunday.
“With such a cold winter, daylight saving time just happening and spring around the corner, I feel we are all ready for the warmer weather and ready to have a little fun,” says Michiko Seto, owner of Blooming Boutique. “We will also be celebrating and thanking our loyal customers with preseason special sales in the stores.”
Lewes Wear, at 109 Savannah Road next to Striper Bites, carries Lewes, Delaware and University of Delaware apparel, gifts and accessories. For the St. Patty’s Day Party, all University of Delaware apparel will be 35 percent off, and all Lewes jackets, long-sleeved T-shirts and sweat shirts will be 25 percent off.
Treasures, at 116 Second St. next to Lewes Gifts, specializes in jewelry, papyrus cards and home décor. The store also carries freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones, Larimar, dichroic glass and more. St. Patty’s Day weekend specials include Madison Avenue and Medallion lamps 30 percent off and Coastal Views canvas prints made in the U.S. 30 to 35 percent off.
Lewes Gifts at 118 Second St. has a large selection of cards, coastal-theme gifts and home décor. For these two days only, customers will receive 10 percent off all purchases over $50 in the entire store.
