Casey Cares Foundation to help critically ill children announces membership program

The Casey Cares Foundation, which provides personalized and continuous programs with a special touch to critically ill children and family members throughout the Mid-Atlantic, announces it now offers a membership program.

Through the program, members will help ensure that families receive tickets to area attractions, concerts, plays, shows, sporting events, birthday surprises and more, creating lasting memories for families that must make every day count.

“When a child is diagnosed with a critical illness, it impacts the entire family,” said Casey Baynes, founder and executive director of the Casey Cares Foundation. “By becoming a friend of Casey Cares, you will support our many programs. For some families, making lasting memories may be as simple as watching a movie and enjoying a pizza in their new, cozy pajamas when the child is too sick to leave their home.”

The cost of a Friends of Casey Cares membership is $50. Benefits include complimentary admission to a Casey Cares family event, an annual subscription to Casey Cares newsletter Kite Tales, early ticket sales to fundraising events, and a Friends of Casey Cares member gift. The Casey Cares Foundation has never turned down an application of a critically ill child due to lack of funding, and by becoming a friend of Casey Cares, members will help provide the foundation with the sustained resources it needs to carry on important programs.
