Josie's Place thanks DJ's Pet Depot

March 23, 2014

Josie’s Place Cat Rescue would like to thank DJ’s Pet Depot for all of their help and kindness in allowing us to showcase our cats at their store. We started way back in August, and since then more than 350 of our cats, including all 87 of the former Safe Haven cats, have been adopted. They have allowed the cats a chance at being seen, so they can be adopted, that we otherwise could not have provided.

Debbie, Joanne, and their staff have been heroes to all of the cats that have stepped foot in their store. We greatly appreciate all of their help and thank them for the usage of their “cat lodging” and the food and litter, which they have generously provided. It is comforting to know that they are in the best of hands, being loved and cared for, when at their store, and not in their foster homes.  It is wonderful to work with a store that is truly in it for the animals, and wants the same as we do for them, a loving, forever home!

Now that all of the former Safe Haven cats have been adopted, we still have other cats and kittens at the store for adoption. If you are looking for a new furry friend, please stop by DJ’s Pet Depot at 17644 Coastal Highway in Lewes, and meet some of our wonderful cats! You can also find us on Facebook, Josie’s Place Cat Rescue, and online at: www.josiesplacecats.org.

Dogs and cats from other local rescue groups and shelters have also had the chance to meet potential adopters at DJ's Pet Depot. This is an amazing service that DJ's is doing for homeless animals and for the community. It is an invaluable service, and one that all of the rescue groups you work with, thank you for.
