Cape JROTC cadets assist disabled veterans and Home of the Brave

Cadets from the Cape Henlopen High School Army JROTC program helped the Disabled American Veterans of Lewes transport donated property Feb. 28 to the Home of the Brave for male veterans in Lincoln and the Home of the Brave for female veterans in Milford.
The donated items included furniture, clothing, children’s toys and kitchen items that were needed by both homes.
The JROTC cadets, who donated their time in freezing temperatures, were Cody Ross, Alex Dominick, Travis Wharton, Austin Kitchen and Ross Hicks.
