Rehoboth Museum partners with Cape students to create art installation

March 23, 2014

The Rehoboth Beach Museum has partnered with the Cape Henlopen High School Photography Club and art teacher Colleen Lowe to create a tribute to glass artist Dale Chihuly in the front window of the museum.

The effect of the glass-like painted sea creatures is especially vivid at night when the front windows of the museum are lit.

Lowe led the students in the art installation project, which the museum hopes to make an annual event. Shown are (l-r) Sydney Draper, Brian Spicer, Joe Casey and Madison Bacon. The window display will be up through the end of April.
