The Sussex Consortium recently celebrated the birthday of Dr. Seuss. Preschool students gathered in the auditorium, where they read “The Cat in the Hat." Gym teacher Patrick Zmuda, center, dressed up as The Cat in the Hat and acted out the story with Nashiem Waples, left, as Thing 2 and Brenna Lawson as Thing 1. Students also made Dr. Seuss crafts and snacks in their classrooms.
