Peninsula Oil employees take Distracted Driver Pledge

Peninsula Oil Co. Inc. held its first safety fair Feb. 18. Approximately 70 employees and 12 vendors from organizations across the state attended, including but not limited to, Delaware Tobacco Prevention and Control Program, Halpern Eye, Delaware Fishing and Wildlife, Energi Insurance, and Mitchell’s Martial Arts of Salisbury.

During the safety fair, employees were encouraged to take the Distracted Driver Pledge. Peninsula Oil Co. Inc. has a company policy by which employees may not use a handheld cellphone while operating a vehicle. All employees are required to pull over safely to the side of the road to use their cellphones.
