IR Marina partners with Dogfish Head to offer vacation package through end of March
With spring right around the corner, Delaware State Parks announces an addition to the Golf Retreat package at the Indian River Marina cottages. State Parks has partnered with Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton to add a brewery tour and free Dogfish Head pint glasses to the two-day deal.
The Golf Retreat, which was introduced in November 2013 along with a Spa Getaway package, features stays at the waterfront cottages along the Indian River Inlet. Both the Golf Retreat and Spa Getaway packages cater to a variety of visitors and offer relaxation, recreation and a chance to discover the natural and historic features Delaware State Parks offer year-round.
In addition to the Dogfish Head tour and pint glasses, the Golf Retreat includes greens fees and other amenities for four golfers at two popular courses. Baywood Greens in Long Neck and The Rookery in the Rehoboth Beach resort area provide wonderful playing experiences for golfers of all abilities.
The Spa Getaway package partners with Made Ya Look! Salon and Day Spa on Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach and includes manicures and pedicures for four, as well as 20 percent off additional services at the spa. The Indian River Life-Saving Station staff will also conduct a private sea glass jewelry-making class for the group.
Both the Spa Getaway and Golf Retreat are offered for four people and include Sunday-to-Thursday stays in Delaware Seashore State Park cottages at the Indian River Marina during the off-season, November through March. Also included are a welcome bag with coupons, vouchers and gift certificates from local shops and restaurants like Henlopen City Oyster House and Tanger Outlets.
