Eddie Sherman and Peggy Raley will bring another in a series of jazz shows to the Saketumi stage Friday, April 4, with the presentation of the Unified Jazz Ensemble. Tickets are $20 and available at eddieshermanshow.com or at the door. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; dinner seating is from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and showtime is from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Unified Jazz Ensemble plays acoustic jazz with audience interaction. After two decades, critics and peers still respond with enthusiasm and glowing reviews. Together since 1992, the Unified Jazz Ensemble began in the Midwest as artists in residence, partially funded by the National Endowment for the Arts.

The ensemble's members have served as faculty and visiting clinicians at more than 100 primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities, and performed before national and international dignitaries. The group has toured the United States, Japan, Okinawa, Korea and Canada, performing, teaching master classes and playing for radio and television.

Unified Jazz Ensemble includes multi-instrumentalist Mike Noonan on vibraphone, marimba, piano and trombone; bassist John Pineda; trumpeter Tim Stanley; and drummer Frank Russo.
