The Milton Garden Club held its first organizational meeting Feb. 27 at Irish Eyes to begin planning for the 15th Annual Home and Garden Tour, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, July 12.

This year’s tour will be a walking tour of one of Milton’s most historic streets, Union Street. Besides the great gardens and homes, there will be special events such as painting by local artists, flower arranging and wood carving in the gardens. Advance tickets will be available starting in May for $12. Tickets will also be available the day of the tour for $15.

The Milton Garden Club was organized in 1998 with a primary goal to make Milton bloom with flowers. The club members plant and maintain 10 public gardens and over 50 planters in downtown Milton. For more information about the club or the garden tour, go to or call 302-684-3804 or 443-617-0617.
