With Legends Stadium turf framed by two-foot snow piles, senior Todd Keen scored five goals and picked up an assist as the Vikings downed the Ravens 18-3 in the Vikings' Henlopen Conference opener March 27.
Seven other Vikings tickled the twine as Blake Mann scored four, Luke Benson tallied three, Kyle Orton scored twice and Justin Lopez, Michael Hopkins, Thomas Ott and Jack Ashby each contributed a goal.
"In the first quarter we just couldn't hit the net," said head coach Jack Lingo. "When we started to put our shots on the cage we got on a roll."
Adding helpers were Benson with three and Lopez with two while Mann, Keen and Matt Kane each had an assist.
The Vikings outshot the Ravens 49 -10.
"We started off slowly," said assistant coach Mark D'Ambrogi. "Then as the game went on we started to find the open guy and took better shots."
Cape goalkeeper Grant Gillan had three saves in the cage.
