Science Olympiad team captures county championship

Sussex Tech’s Science Olympiad team captured its second Sussex County Championship in a row and placed eighth in the state out of 59 teams. Medalists include the following: Adventures in Agriculture - 9th, Megan Parkhurst and James Forder; Anatomy and Physiology - 4th, Megan Parkhurst and Bansri Patel, and 6th, Natasha Taylor and Nhu Do; Astronomy - 10th, James Forder and Zach Zellhart; Circuit Lab - 4th, James Forder and Chaz Gouert, and 6th, Daniel Crowell; Disease Detectives - 1st, Megan Parkhurst and Bansri Patel; Experimental Design - 4th, Bansri Patel, Amanda Kucharzyk and Stephen Pappa; Technical Problem Solving - 6th, Henson Destine and Chelsea Lee.
