Beebe Thrift Store facelift impressive

April 7, 2014

This is in regard to the Beebe Auxiliary Thrift Store.

OMG have you been to the old/new Beebe Thrift Store at Midway recently? They have gone through a transformation that wows you when you walk in. I am a volunteer of seven years there and could not help the weekend the transformation took place.

Thanks to Pam the manager and Michael the assistant manager and all the volunteers who helped make this almost impossible change happen. I walked in to do my weekly shift after the weekend of makeover and all I could say was wow, oh my gosh what a great change.

I'm not the only one; almost everyone who walks in says the same thing. Carpets have been cleaned, some painting and rearranged all the clothing in different ways. The clothing is for spring as they had such a fantastic sale before this all took place they could start over with all the donations of the community. Even the side with furnishings, etc. has been rearranged and made to look great.

So won't you stop by and see for yourself. It is based on all volunteers who do a great job and the help of the buying community that make the auxiliary dreams come true. The auxiliary donates back to the community of Beebe Healthcare with gifts each year that have been in the $300,000 range, such as a digital mammography machine, monetary donation to the Beebe School of Nursing, a chapel, and so many other things made possible through the Beebe Thrift Store because of the great buying by the locals and visitors. Thank you everyone.
