Letter writer doesn't deserve such cricitism

April 18, 2014

I feel like a response was necessary to Dorothy Boucher's character assassination of me.

First, I am not a liberal or a do-gooder. I am just a person who is greatly affected by smoking, and I do have the right to belong to a private club. Smokers do have the right to smoke, but they do not have the right to make me and other people sick.

I should not have to leave my club because of smokers. You did not also have the right to degrade me. My article in no way degraded you or any other smokers.

I just want a world that is as healthy as possible. If you intend to answer me, please try to not degrade me. I am in no way the evil person you said I am.
