Lopez knows how to help his constituents

April 22, 2014

After three months of making phone calls and repeated dealings with people who didn't seem to care, I contacted Sen. Ernie Lopez for help with a medical bill that was paid by Medicare. Sen. Lopez met with us in the kitchen over a cup of coffee.

The senator was very helpful and anxious to help in this matter. He contacted the people in charge the same day and by the end of the day I received a phone call from the the billing office - the the bill was discharged.

Imagine, he did in one day that I was trying to do in three months. Thank you Sen. Lopez for being kind and compassionate person and doing it in an old-fashion way - one-on-one and with a handshake.
