Students from the Sussex Consortium Arts, Music and Movement After-School Program showcased their artwork at an exhibit and reception held April 16 in the auditorium at Cape Henlopen High School. The artwork was created by Sussex Consortium students during a Very Special Arts Delaware artist residency program.
Teaching artists Colleen Lowe, Kirten Geyer and Ciera Hackett facilitated a program that provided opportunities for the development of artistic skills as well as the exploration of various materials and techniques. Sussex Consortium staff members Debbie Priddy, Denise Delesio, Jaime Eglit, Allison Klink, Lisa Thorp and Pam Graves provided assistance during the sessions. This VSA Delaware project is made possible by funding from the Carl M. Freeman FACES grant program.
