Lewes needs to re-elect Bonnie Osler

May 2, 2014

I attended candidates’ night with an open mind, ready to listen to each of the three Lewes City Council candidates and determine what they had to offer. Without question, Bonnie Osler was the clear winner that night. Bonnie revealed an impressive balance of general knowledge, institutional memory, practicality, understanding of our challenges and vision. The next few years are critical for Lewes. For the next year we will be working on a new comprehensive plan, a blueprint that will affect generations of Lewes residents, businesses and visitors. We also need an aggressive contingency and mitigation plan for the effects of sea level rise and climate change. These and so many other challenges facing us, combined with Lewes’ standing as an historical treasure, will require our very best.

Bonnie Osler has a lawyer’s analytical skills, but also the knowledge, common sense, peopleskills and vision that will help us come out ahead. We have to re-elect Bonnie Osler to the Lewes City Council.
